Your afternoon begins with pickup from your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, taking you to the safari base where your Sand Buggy adventure starts. After a short briefing and test ride, you’ll begin a 25 km journey through the vast desert, crossing golden dunes surrounded by breathtaking views of the Red Sea Mountains. The ride lasts about an hour or more — plenty of time to enjoy the thrill and freedom of driving through open desert landscapes.
Upon reaching the authentic Bedouin village, you’ll be greeted with warm hospitality and a cup of traditional Bedouin tea. Discover the Bedouin lifestyle, learn how they use natural herbs for healing, and explore the traditional Bedouin pharmacy. You may also visit the wild reptiles museum for a small additional fee.
Enjoy a short 10-minute camel ride — a classic way to experience the desert, just as the Bedouins have done for generations. As the sun starts to set, your guide will help you capture unforgettable photos of the golden sky and sweeping desert views.
You will then begin the return Sand Buggy ride, covering another 25 km as the sun sets behind the mountains. Your guide will stop again for stunning sunset photos in the open dunes.
Back at the desert camp, the evening continues with an oriental entertainment show featuring traditional Arabic music, belly dancing, and tanoura performances under the stars. Meanwhile, enjoy a delicious oriental buffet dinner with a selection of Egyptian dishes.
At the end of this memorable evening, we’ll take you back to your hotel, confident that you’ve experienced one of the most exciting and meaningful nights in Hurghada.
